Christmas treats

For my daughter's Christmas program, each parent was to bring 2 dozen cookies, cupcakes, whatever.  I knew I was going to bake the cupcake Christmas ornaments below, but, when I saw these, they literally screamed my name!  Aren't they the cutest thing ever?  I saw the idea here and ordered the snowman heads from here.  They are built with mini donuts, donut holes and mini chocolate chips for the buttons.  I used frosting to put everything together.  It was a little nerve wracking taking them to school-I was afraid they were going to fall apart, but, they survived!

These cupcakes I spotted in a kids holiday baking book at Crate & Barrel.  I was just browsing thru it and I snapped a photo with my phone.  Not sure if that is legal or not, since I didn't buy the book.

Classroom Christmas favors

These little mice were so fun to make!  I fell in love with the little fella's!  I made these for both of my girls classmates.  The idea came from Family Fun and I printed the free tags from Living Locurto.

We also made these little favors to go along with ALL of the teacher's Christmas gifts.  I thought they were fun!  I found the little containers at Michael's, filled them with peanut M&M's and tied some ribbon around the handle and used the free printable and they were done. 

Teacher's gift #2

This is what we made for my 4yo for her 2 teachers.  This was also last minute.  I guess for some reason, I was not on the ball for Christmas.  I saw this idea and thought it was very unique and different.  They were very easy to make.  The frame came from the dollar store and I had some scrapbook paper and ribbon on hand.  I did have to buy Post-It notes though.  I made the initial with my Cricut.  I think they turned out pretty cute.  The teachers loved them actually!  The other one I made, the photo did not turn out too well.  Too flashy!

Teacher's gift #1

 I saw this great idea on Living Locurto and The DIY Dish and thought this would be cute for my 3 year old daughter to give to her teachers.   I kinda used a combination of both ideas.  I actually could not find gingerbread mix in any store.

I found the gingerbread towel at Hobby Lobby, the gingerbread cookie cutter at Michael's and the cookie magazine at Walmart.  The free printable tag pulls it all together for a great gift!  

 My 4yo and I dropped  my 3yo off at school and then went to Starbucks and put the bags together.  Yes, this was kinda last minute for me and I brought in the scissors and ribbon too.  She sipped on hot chocolate while I put them together.  We had about 45 minutes before we had to be back to my daughter's school for her Christmas program.  She then gave the bags to her teachers.

Kids Christmas table

 I found this super cute idea for the kids table at Christmas.  Since it was Rudolph, I went with that theme.  I made these napkin rings and I had a few figurines from the movie and set those on the table.  I also printed out some coloring pages from the movie as well to keep them occupied.  And that little added touch of ribbon around the glass jars of crayons.

Christmas tags

I had to post this because I thought these were absolutely the most darling thing ever!  Allsorts is one amazing blog!  I printed these out for my kids tags from Santa.  

I am back!!!

Sorry I have been away for so long.  Our computer crashed and we just got a new one yesterday.  It has been a month and a half.   I still haven't posted any Christmas items yet.  So, you'll get a little Christmas in February-sorry!
