Turkey centerpiece

I've been wanting to make this guy for a long time. He is sooo cute! I used a 12" styrofoam ball for the body and a 4" ball for the head.
I used a dark brown yarn for the body and a light brown yarn for the head. The eyes, beak and waddle are made from felt. I used googly eyes too.

I just drew the feather freehand (they are not perfect) on cardstock and glued a popsicle stick to each one.

Everyone wrote one or two things they were thankful for on the feather and then they stuck it into the turkey.

Kids Table

I used kraft paper on the table. Drew an outline of a frame around the plates for the kids to color if they wanted.
I used a Cricut Expression machine to make the silohuettes for the table. There were a boy and girl pilgrim, leaf, turkey and Mayflower shape. We also printed off some coloring sheets for the kids and put under their plates.

Jar of crayons with the silohuettes.

A masterpiece!

We know who's sitting here!

Napkin Rings

These are the napkin rings that I made for our Thanksgiving table.
I used a rubber stamp for the leaf and then acrylic stamps for the words. I put a little glitter on the leaf too. Then I used ribbon to thread thru.

All completed!

Baking GALS

www.bakinggals.com
I recently joined Baking Gals to help support our military. It is just a small way to say THANK YOU to all of those serving.
I made sugar cookie cut-outs shaped like turkey's, with frosting and sprinkles and some dark chocolate brownies.

This is me ready to ship my package of goodies to my military girl.
