Teacher's Valentine

Ok, this was my first time using piping gel and edible glitter. I bought some chocolate wafer cookies and with a heart stencil, I painted these on. I think I should of ground the glitter more finely than what it was. But, it still worked out.

I had these jars saved for something...and they came in handy. I put in a dozen cookies and covered with material, tied a ribbon around it and then actually made these tags with my new Cricut Expression machine. My first time using it. I think they turned out cute-it doesn't take much to impress me. ;)

Valentine Flamingo

Ok, I just happened to see this in my daughter's new magazine by World Wildlife and thought this was the cutest thing in the world! I am a sucker for flamingo's - not sure why. I thought, how easy is this. The result? A flippin' cute flamingo! (thrown together at 11pm at night)
I cut out 2 hearts from cardstock, 3 pipe cleaners, feathers and a googly eye. Bend the first pipe cleaner into an "S" for the head. Glue everything onto the one heart and then top it with the other heart to cover up. You can write your own message.

Valentine's craft day with friends!

Here are just a couple of crafts we did with some friends of ours. I remember doing this as a kid~ stamping with a potato. How fun!

This was her first time using a potato for a craft.

I finally got to do the project that I posted awhile ago. They turned out pretty cute and they had fun making the flowers.

O's class Valentine's

This is a tried and true project and this is my first time doing this for my 3 yr. old.
Soaking the crayons in hot water for about 5 minutes, makes the label peel right off.

Ready to go into the oven at 250 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

The result: CoLoRFuL, heart shaped crayons!

All packaged and ready to deliver.
