My one daughter had dress like a scarecrow day at school today. We were in charge of bringing a salty snack, so, I popped some popcorn and put them in brown lunch bags and tied them up with ribbon and this cute tag I made. {I found the scarecrow image via Google and just printed them out in wallet size and taped them to orange cardstock. I didn't want anything that said, Happy Fall Ya'll or anything like that-just a plain simple scarecrow. He was cute!}

Back to school teacher's lunch
I decorated the teacher's lounge for their back to school teacher's lunch. It wasn't much, but, it turned out pretty cute. These crayon tube holders were perfect for my centerpieces. I found the party printables and the idea for the crayon tubes here.
These cute little buses are made from Hershey Nuggets. Just print and wrap around. The teacher's loved these! Printable found here.

Olympics & More Olympics
After our Olympic rings craft, we decided to paint some t-shirts. Got these 2 tank tops at WalMart-cheap. We just used a plastic party cup and painted the rim of the cup and then pressed down onto the shirt. I ended up tying some patriotic ribbon on the shoulders of their shirt.
Here is our banner finally finished.
Pay no attention to the hole by the #2. Didn't realize the door handle would rip the paper. Hence, the door stopper we have there.
We took the easy way out and printed our gold medals. Found here.
Flag coloring sheets found here.
Found a lot of the stuff we used here.

I figure since we are doing all this Olympic stuff, I might as well start posting it. We started off by going to the library and finding some books on Olympics/London. This is what I came across.
Not a great selection, but, it will do.
This book was actually very good. I liked it!
This book is a picture book. It does have at the end of the book a listing and definition of the places in the book.
Our first craft was making the Olympic rings out of paper plates. Real easy, just cut out the middle of the plate and then paint. I just taped my rings together.
The finished product.
Here is the beginning of our banner. It now hangs in our mudroom. More pictures of this later.

Thanksgiving Feast
My younger daughter's school had a Thanksgiving Feast. We signed up to bring 2 dozen treats. Decided that these were the cutest thing I had ever seen! I used cake donut holes instead of the glaze, but, I'm sure either one is just as yummy! I dipped them in chocolate and rolled them in jimmies and stuck a tiny pretzel in the top for the stem. They really look like acorns!
Teacher Appreciation
Sometime around Halloween, my daughter's school had Parent/Teacher conferences and the PTO usually serve the teacher's dinner. They were looking for people to donate and I decided to make s'mores on a stick. They were really yummy! Marshmallows dipped in chocolate and rolled in graham crackers. I found the FREE printable here.
