Mother's Day 2010

I usually never keep pictures in my camera that long, but, this time I did. These are a little late.

The TomKat Studio had these FREE printables for Mother's Day. I thought I would give them a try and they were so cute to add to our cupcakes.

New blog logo

I wanted something special for my blog that no one else has. I asked my talented friend Gretchen, who is a Graphic Designer to come up with a logo for me. I told her I like to do crafts and bake and this is what she came up with. All designed by her. I LOVE it! I can't thank her enough for her time and talent! You can check out Gretchen's Graphics here.

Mom's chocolate jar

This is from that wonderful blog I was talking about. I did buy one of the treat jars at Hobby Lobby-but, for myself. Selfish I know. I fell in love with the mustache probably because I am working on a Circus party and I recently purchased some stick on mustaches from the dollar store. Now, I see mustaches all the time. I sooo want a mustache candy mold! Anyway, the free printable is here and I will be putting my favorite candy bar in here--Green & Black's 85% Dark Chocolate--YUMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For mommy's hands ONLY!!!

Teacher Appreciation week 2010

I stumbled across this blog last week and fell in love with it! I saw these free printables and thought how cute to make for O's 3 teachers. I didn't want to go and buy the jars, I had everything at home except the candy. So, it was an inexpensive and easy put together.

Sneaking a peek into our greenhouse...

I had to take a look inside to make sure things were happening in there. This is 4 days after we planted them. It looks like this all the time--moist inside.

There are actually sunflowers starting to sprout in there. Yippee!

Greenhouse

I saw this cute little garden at Bed Bath & Beyond at the checkout lanes. It was only a few dollars, so I thought this would be a good thing for my daughter to do. I do not have a green thumb, so if it comes in a box, the easier the better.

You just add water to the flat discs and they expand up. They are little patches of soil.

You then put in your seeds...

and cover. Voila! Place them in sunlight and watch them grow--hopefully.
